  • Do I need to worry about mosquitoes and malaria in Namibia ,Botswana and Zimbabwe?
    All three countries have areas with mosquitoes and malaria risk, especially in rural and northern regions. Use a repellent containing DEET or Picaridin, wear long sleeves and trousers in the evenings, and use mosquito nets if provided. Even if you haven’t used repellent before, it’s highly recommended for these destinations.
  • Do I need visas for Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe? Should I apply online or get them on arrival?
    Namibia: Most travelers require a visa. You can apply online in advance (recommended for faster entry) or get a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Botswana: Many nationalities do not need a visa for short stays. Check your country’s requirements. Zimbabwe: Most travelers need a visa. You can apply online (recommended for convenience) or get a visa on arrival at airports and border posts.
  • Should I bring cash or use my debit/credit card in these countries , Namibia ,Botswana and Zimbabwe?
    Namibia: Cards are widely accepted in cities and towns. Bring cash for rural areas, small shops, and fuel stations. Botswana: Cards are accepted in most urban areas and tourist lodges. Cash is needed for remote areas. Zimbabwe: Bring US dollars in small denominations ($1, $5, $10, $20). Card payments are rare, and ATMs may not work for foreign cards.
